Congrats to everyone in IHM on your confirmation. At last you guys are confirmed. hahahah

Well, i been reassured by God that he loves me. How? I can't really quite explain, but i know He does and i know that i'm not going to be afraid of anything anymore. And i'm going to loudly say, Jun Ming is my friend all those who despise him, GO AWAY from me. I rather have a person who does not insult any of my friends than to have you as my friend. But again, the lord said to pray for my enemies and love them. I will treat everyone equally from now on, no more hates or scorns.

Some of you might say, that there is no God, science can't prove it, so why say He exists? You cant smell, touch, see, taste or hear Him, it's true we can't. But we BELIEVE, something that not everyone does. Pray, even if it seem to not work, continue, for He is always there. God loves everyone, there's no saying, i'm a free thinker so i can't, you can, prayer is given freely to everyone, it's how we use it, BELIEVE in it, not wish or merely hope.

Now i know why confirmation was given to each of us, to strengthen us, to allow the Spirit to move us, grant us courage to spread God's words to all peoples, no matter the consequence. I finally understand and i'm not gonna hide it any more, spread the Good News is what we are called to do. Love your enemies as yourself.

I can't change the world, but i can change myself and those around me, with the Holy Spirit within me, i fear nothing. Come and feel the Love of God, just open your heart.

Had nothing else to do, so i decided to blog.

Well it would seem that time passes by real fast, before we know it, we're here now, this old now. Well, i'm really sad i had to miss all the fun in IHM. I didn't want to go, but well maybe it's God's plan. I miss all my friends i had since P1 cate class. Though i admit, i had disliked a few ppl, but thinking about it right now, i do regret it. I did not disliked you guys actually. I regretted not opening up during the years in cate class, being too quiet, now i realise, the friends i make in cate class are the friends i'm gonna have in Church or the rest of my life.

After the con camp, many of you guys said it was fun, even getting the chance to sleep in the retreat house, how cool is that? With beds, all the fun, laughter. I remember sec 2 camp, during the praise and worship times, how all of us sang, though many of us didn't really opened up to sing along, inside us we actually wanted to but just didn't dared. I heard this time you all sang, felt the Holy Spirit within you. Real sad i missed that part, during the group reflections everyone talked about themselves, some of us wanted to talk more but didn't dared. These are things i regret, how i wish i did not have to change Church.

This year however, i was in a group with friends i was more comfortable with, jerome,jon, gary and the rest. Yet i just have to change Church...
All the fun, up's and down's, bonding, friendship, gone down in just a day.

Guys, don't forget me, 9 years we were together, confirmation is just another step.
Now i realise, it does not matter where you get confirmed or when, it's who you get confirm with, those who know you, ppl who shared the same experiences as you did, the praise and worship times, the healing session in sec 2 camp and the cate lessons we had.
These are what matters, in the end we're still being loved by the same God, who loves us no matter how stubborn, rude, selfish we are, how proud, ignorant and careless we are to others. Who loves us no matter, how screwed up we are, no matter how many times we sin against Him, ignore Him, He'll always be there to guide and help us, that's how much He loves us. The Everlasting God, the One Who will never fail us, or leave us. If He cares for the birds in the sky, would He surely care more for you?

Nothing in my life was a mistake, God had already written this in His book, He had already planned my future and present. I trust you Lord, that whatever i do, it is Your Will, not mine. No matter how angry i am not being able to be with my friends at IHM right now, in the confirmation, i do not blame You Lord, let it be done according to You Will, i pray that my friends and everyone i've known in IHM, that they will remember me. This is my only wish Lord. Amen.

For all the times i had been holding back to myself, not talking, being too quiet, annoying, not helpful, selfish, i am sorry guys, please forgive me. I regretted not becoming better friends with you all, only now then i realised that, but it's too late. I will miss all the times we had together, i'm sure you do too. After confirmation, i hope you guys will carry on and join the youth groups, don't be lost totally.

I'll miss you guys.

Ok. At last headin to the US. 4th Dec, had H1N1 injection at a polyclinic. IHM's confirmation camp starts today. Hmm, well guys hope you enjoy yourselves, gonna miss all of you when i'm away.

Left for the airport at 3pm, at the airport, met Brandon, Aaron and JM there, they came to see me off, thanks guys, i'll buy something back for you guys. It's not always you have a friend to see you off. Passed the check-in, immigration and we were off to Hong kong first. Left SG at 5.50pm, reached Hong Kong at 9.50pm, gosh man, wondering what all my friends are doing at IHM right now. Waited for 45 mins, then took off at 10.30pm to San Francisco. 11hrs and 30mins flight. Real long, after all the check in stuffs again, we had to wait for our next domestic flight to BOSTON! We decided to eat at San Francisco soup company, wow the portions were already so huge at the airport. The soup tasted great, what a meal to start a day in the US. It was night in the US, but day in SG, so our bodies were more active. This is a problem, the jet-lag. We had to force ourselves to sleep, no matter what.

Reached Boston Sat morning, 5th dec, 7am US time, 8pm SG time. 7 degrees Celsius, here comes the fun part, the cold. Slipped on my winter-jacket, all set. We took our bags and headed out to flag a taxi. The moment the airport doors open, the cold wind blew, ahh what a relieve after all the heat in SG, hahaha, yeah this is life.

The trip was a short one, enjoyed many sights on our way to my mom's apartment. The houses there were great, the parks, building remnants of the british rule. Then at last we arrived. My dad called my mom, and after so long, met up with her again. We carried the bags into the apartment, it was a nice, with a bedroom, toilet, living room with a kitchen and a closet. Just nice for the 5 of us. In the afternoon, my mom showed us the small cambridge town area, ate at some italian restaurant for lunch, food was great. Then suddenly a shout came, i thought it was a fight breaking out, but soon turned out to be a birthday surprise for a customer by the waiters. They sang and gave her a small cake. I thought wow, if only we get to see this in SG, it'll be great. Then my mom brought us to several small street shops. The things they had were really interesting. Snow, 9pm tonight, here it comes.

Then we went home. Couldn't sleep at night, woke up 3 times.

Man what are you guys doing right now at IHM?

The next day, my dad brought my sisters and i to some area full of shops. The place was similar to the one near New York, the time i went in 2007. We bought and left. But something came amiss. My dad drove to the area with a rented car, that uses a card on the top left hand of the windscreen to unlock the car. But halfway he realised that he did not turn off the car's day light. Something which i find is weird, lights in the day? Well, we were too late, by the time we got there the cars battery power had been drain and therefore we were unable to unlock the car. My dad called the company and they said that a man will be coming to help us in 45 mins. So we went to eat, my elder sis and i shared a plate of chinese food,while my younger sis and dad ate pizza. Ate finish and left to see whether the man had arrived. True enough he had just arrived, seeing the problem he took a piece of wood and a long metal rod bent at the edge like an "L", using these two, i watched in amazement how he manage to put the metal rod into the car and unlocking it from outside. Cool.... After thanking and tipping him, we left for home. Before sun-down at 4pm, my dad decided to bring us outside latin school library, just near the apartment to enjoy the snow. It was really fun, about 2 inches of snow. We tried building a snowman but well, things didn't go quite right. Went to lie on the snow, shot a few snowballs. That was great, got to do that again!

Today right now 7th dec 6.53 pm US TIME, 8th dec, 7.53am SG time. Here i am doing this. Did some sightseeing today, with my dad and sis. We walked my mom to her university library for her to finish her assignment. While we walked to the river to get enjoy the scenery. Saw loads of gooses near the river, crossed the bridge, walked along the river, took a few pics and crossed back the river and went back home. There's so many things i did, think i forgot one or two. Anyway well yeah it's been great here at Boston so far.

7th dec, end of IHM's confirmation camp. Well the camp rocks, wake up at 6.30am and sleep at 11pm, wow some more had the chance to sleep at the retreat house so cool! I should've been there, but ahh well not everything you want, comes the way you want it to be. Well God, hope you've left some fun for me too. Really miss you guys.

Whoo finally decided to update my blog after a long while from it. I'm in Boston! Yeah man, love the weather, food, people and best of all reunited with my mom after 5 months.

The week before i left...

26th Nov. Went for to school to help the band, well most of the things were packed up alr, so there wasn't much to do accept scotch-tape here and there. That was it, left around 11pm.

At 1pm headed to Malaysia, Ipoh for 5 day 4 night!! Left SG at around 1.15pm, had a smooth drive all the way till KL, we were soon caught in a massive jam due to the Hari-Raya celebrations. It was slow all the way to Ipoh there after. 3 accidents on the road, 3 no kidding, real big ones, up to 6 cars. I really pity them, it's Hari-Raya the next day and here they are being caught up in an accident. hmmm

We eventually reached my grandparents house around 8.15pm, ate and finally caught up with my cousins there. Both of them are in form 5, their SPM year, here in SG we call it O level so it ain't that different, their papers comes from Cambridge as well, but different timings and papers too. Talked and ate Ah Pong, ahh the missed food. My uncle, came later in the night from Kuantan as well.

The next few days we ate the same old food again, chicken noodle, dim sum, marpoh, currymee, prata, indian rojak, seafood, wanton mee and others. Yeah still the same.

Badminton again. My eldest male cousin, jowee and i teamed up against my dad and uncle. We won them all 3 matches, with a 10 point head-start. So i wasn't very fair. Then my cheong kah mun, jowee, cat and i played mix-doubles. Waa i always lose by a few points eh! We only managed to play for 2 days only, the other days were just too rainy.

On the fourth day after lunch, my uncle took my cousins, sis and i to "gua ....look tong" can't remember the middle name, it's a temple that's build in a cave. Standing outside of the entrance looking up at the mountain,made me feel really small, which reminds us humans that we are small, in a larger world. The cave was filled with deities and there was this really cool wishing stone, where the higher you throw your coin on the stone, the more chances of your wish being granted. The mountain was like a tunnel which led to another opening at the back, there was park. My cousins and i did the pebble walk, it wasn't really that pain once you know which stone to step but even so, my cousins had problems. It is said that the more pain you feel, the more stress you are facing.

After enjoying all the sightseeing it was time to go home. We stopped by cempaka, my grandparents old housing estate, to look for chee cheong fun. But sadly the shop was gone, so we decided to head home.

This trip has been really fun, yeah, somethings are just better in MY!

I like to make myself believe that planet Earth turns slowly. It's hard to say that i rather stay awake when I'm asleep. Cause everything is not as what it seems.

A series of events happened the past few days.

Thurs-nothing much

Fri-had band, left the house at around 8.05am and took the bus, when i reached school, i had only 5mins left, then jeshua called me "miss ong says hurry up or.." i dont remember the last bit. The band ran quite well under the sec 2s, then had warm-up and headed for the junior school hall for the carnival's rehearsal. We waited for awhile before it was our turn on stage, a few other cca's were there too. That's about it.

Sat-went giant with my dad and sis, then at around 5.45pm, went for confession.

Sun-the day that i have been waiting for after attending cate class for 9 years, is finally here. CONFIRMATION! Met brandon, aaron, lucas and shawn at nativity church at around 4.05pm, we were suppose to be there at 4.15. We wore, white long sleeve shirts, tie, black pant/socks, and ballroom shoes. Brandon,aaron and i had our clothing from our dad, since its for only one occasion. It's our first time wearing so formally, it felt different.

I wore a green tie with gummy bears on it(don't ask me why), aaron and brandon, cant remember.

So after some photo shot by shawn's mother, we went up to the hall. Everything white, everyone over 80 of us, girls and boys, wearing white, just that guys could choose between black or white pants. Then we had class photo together.

Soon, godparents were suppose to report to the hall, we had to line up in the car park to get ready to move up to the Church. Then after some briefing our godparents joined us and we trooped up to the Church. We sat accordingly, Mass was about to start soon, brandon and i and our godparents, happened to sit in the same bench, so zai. Then all confirmands had to proceed to the front of the Church, to proceed in with Arc-Bishop.
When he arrived, Mass began. Many parents were already seated in the Church, armed with cameras.

Mass went as per normal, then after the Homily, it was confirmation, one by one of us with our godparents came forward to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, our godparents will hold our right shoulders with their right hand on their left holding out our confirmation names, i chose mine won't be posting it here. The Bishop will then anoint us with Holy Chrism on our foreheads, before giving a slight slap on our cheek.

Then after 80 sec 3's were confirmed Mass carried on, till the end. One by one of us then had to come out to receive the certificate of confirmation from the Bishop, followed by a photo with the Bishop, all of us squeezed in, there were so many cameras, now i know how celebrity feels, "overwhelmed". When it was over, it was done, cate class is over, all these years have already finished.

Though i confirmed in another Church, i will still miss IHM, this is gonna be one memory i wont forget. I confirmed with my buddies since sec 1, brandon, aaron, lucas great friends, i'm glad God gave me these friends!
